| Stern Residence Hall Hobart and William Smith Colleges General Construction & Construction Management Hobart and William Smith Colleges turned to Hueber-Breuer to manage the construction of a new campus center piece, Stern Hall. This centrally located facility houses the Economics, Political Science, Anthropology, and International Studies Departments. The building was designed and constructed to match, as closely as possible, a building 80’ away that was constructed in the early 1900’s. This three story structure was constructed of cast-in-place foundations, structural steel framing, brick masonry façade, precast concrete accents to mimic limestone, and a slate roof. The interior consisted of extensive cherry millwork and trims. |
