| SUNY Cortland Stadium and Athletic Facility Syracuse University New Construction Construction Manager This new stadium complex was built with maximum enjoyment in mind, not only for the active participant, but also for the fans. The facility includes a field house, administrative building, grandstand, and synthetic surface playing fields incorporating the latest technology to address issues such as drainage, comfort, injury prevention, and durability. The main grandstand seats 5,000 spectators and visitors’ side seating accommodates 1,500. Amenities also include an 18-foot by 36-foot scoreboard, with a 9-foot by 14-foot video screen. A two-tiered press box, which serves the main field as well as the auxiliary field, features conduits that offer nine angles for television coverage of events. The stadium features state-of-the-art lighting for night contests and the main and auxiliary field grandstands are linked by a common walkway. |
