Time Warner Cable News Station and Parking Garage
| Time Warner Cable News Station and Parking Garage Renovation/restoration Construction Manager When Time Warner selected a decaying but historically significant 1937 structure as the home for their local 24-hour news operation (News 10 Now) they knew they would have many challenges to overcome. The historic building had to be treated with respect yet ultimately had to accommodate the demands of a fully digital television station and news gathering operation. Hueber-Breuer handled this project with care. As the owner ultimately stated “You responded to changing requirements to accommodate our changing technology and operational issues. You were always flexible and responsive to our needs.” It is now a City of Syracuse landmark and a proud reminder that the architectural and structural integrity of old, neglected buildings can be restored and reinvented with a little tender loving care. Passersby see it much the way it was when the trains whistled into the station many years ago. |
