| Bristol-Myers Squibb Company Multiple Building Projects Building 58B Concurrent Manufacturing and Harvest Centrifuge Expansion and Renovation A phased design and construction project aimed at renovating and expanding the existing Syracuse Biotech Manufacturing Facility. Goals of the project include expanding GMP compliance, adding capabilities for concurrent manufacturing of two products and for Bioreactor Harvest using Centrifuge Technology, and modifying utilities and support systems (water injection, clean in place, steam in place, and HVAC). Relocate QC Laboratories to Buildings 23A and 75 Renovation Renovation of existing lab spaces to accommodate Wet Chemistry and Instrument Labs and relocation of Epothilone Band 5 testing lab. Biologics Expansion and Renovation, Building 23 Renovation Construction Management Combination chemical laboratory and office space involving four buildings. Includes 90,000 SF of a 120,000 SF Chemical and Biologics Laboratory Space. The remaining 30,000 SF was kept in operation during the entire duration of construction. Extensive asbestos abatement and radiation decommissioning throughout the project was required. Installed (4) new air handlers, de-ionized process space to be distributed over four stories, chilled water, and a new fire protection system throughout. All these systems were installed within the original framework of the building, including using all original chases that extended from the basement to the penthouse (5 stories). Building 58, Stand-by Generation Project Renovation Construction Management Construction management services for two 2.5 megawatt (2500 KVA) generators with a maximum fuel storage capacity of 13,000 gallons. This generation system was installed in an existing substation powering a 125,000 SF biologics plant. Over 500 terminations were completed in new and existing switchgear. |
