Washington Street It too Hueber-Breuer ingenuity to turn the architect’s vision of two separate structures joined by an 85-foot concrete span into reality. Hueber-Breuer’s crews saw that construction proceeded on schedule despite fluctuations in the creek flow and the need to re-route a water main pipe that crossed the site. Soil conditions at the site carried so much that each end of the garage has a different type of concrete foundation. The eye-pleasing Washington Street Garage was one of the first in the area with a decorative skin – a painted aluminum screening custom-built by Hueber-Breuer. Pedestrian access to a planned creek walk has been provided from two streets that border the site. |
