| United Helpers Nursing Home Ogdensburg, New York New Construction and Renovation Construction Management Situated on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, United Helpers was designed to take advantage of the picturesque views. As it came closer to ground breaking, however, this project was over budget. It was a difficult time economically. Money was tight, construction costs were at an all time high. The Department of Health and medic-cad only allows a certain, designated dollar amount per bed unit. Hueber-Breuer and the other team members worked together and planned diligently to build what the Owner envisioned, a class A facility, at a cost they could afford. A perfect example of value engineering. |
