YMCA Northwest

The new YMCA is a pre-engineered steel frame facility made of three interconnected structures with insulated metal panel roofing and walls. The project includes a myriad of features:

elevated indoor track

sports performance courts

wellness equipment area

cycle studio

weight room

locker rooms

extensive aquatic center (lap pool, therapy pool, activity pool with current channel)

children’s playrooms

offices

classrooms

art and music studio

yoga studio

cancer patient support center

The site is fully developed with parking, walks, roads, site lighting, landscaping, and storm water rain gardens. Hueber-Breuer worked very closely with the owners to adapt the project design details to work within the pre-engineered building frame while not sacrificing schedule or budget. It was important to our firm and the YMCA that we provide the highest level of service to them as a not-for-profit organization that serves multiple communities. We achieved a facility that blended low maintenance materials with high end appeal within a very tight budget.
